A

Aisles: Keep aisles clear at all times; emergency situations require that stairways be kept clear. Guests' sitting or standing in the aisles or walkways jeopardize the safety of others and is prohibited. Entering the playing field, floor or restricted areas are prohibited.

Alcohol: No alcohol may be brought into the Germain Arena.

Alcohol Sales: Beer & Wine are served on the main concourses at most events. Alcohol sales times vary from event to event. The Germain ARENA reserves the right to stop alcohol sales at any time. Although the Arena Club continues selling alcohol through the post-game, no alcohol sold after the cut-off time is allowed into the Arena bowl.

Americans with Disabilities Act: The management of the Germain Arena is sensitive to the needs of physically challenged individuals, both in the design of the Arena and its policies. Seating for the physically challenged is available on full-season, partial plan and single-event basis throughout the Arena. A complete ADA guide is available at Guest Services.

ATM's: Automated Teller Machines are located under Section 104 on the north side adjacent to the Breakaways Elevator.

B

Backstage Passes: The singing happens on the stage, but the stars spend a little time behind the stage in their dressing rooms, relaxing, and eating a quick snack. Back stage passes are very limited and usually only provided by radio stations, fan clubs or artist management. Many radio stations hold contests to win the back stage passes to meet your favorite star. Also, several artists take time before each show they perform to meet the members of their fan clubs. Unfortunately, they are not for sale.

Behavior: We encourage enthusiasm and active cheering. However, individual conduct must be bound by law and the rights of others to enjoy the event. Guest behavior cannot unreasonably offend others or be unreasonably abusive to players, officials or performers. Arena staff reserves the right to expel patrons whose behavior seriously affects the ability of others to enjoy the event. Please notify security personnel or an Usher, if any such problem occurs.

Box Office: Tickets to all events at the Germain Arena are available at the Arena box office. Purchases made through the box office must be done in person; sorry, no phone orders. Tickets purchased through the Arena box office will not be subject to service charges.

During the summer: M-F 10a-5p, closed Sat & Sun unless there is an event or ticket on-sale

C

Cameras & Videos: The use of video or audio recorders is not permitted, except by accredited members of the press. Still cameras can be brought in to Everblades Hockey & Firecats Arenafootball games, although cameras are only to be used from ticketed seats. Equipment should not be obtrusive to other patrons. There are no cameras allowed for concerts.

Carry-in Items: YOU MAY NOT BRING INTO THESE FACILITIES bottles, cans, coolers, liquid containers, alcoholic beverages, illegal substances, fireworks, video equipment and cameras, recording devices, banners/signs/sticks, laser pointers, aerosol cans, chains, studded bracelets, pets and noisemakers. All guests entering these facilities are subject to search as permissible by law. Refusal will be grounds to prohibit admission.

Car Trouble: Should you have car trouble in the parking lot after the game, notify a parking attendant or any event staff.

Changeovers: Many different events take place in the Germain ARENA throughout the year. To prepare for a monster truck show the day after a basketball game, the building must undergo an extensive changeover. To see how this is done (including how we make ice), see our building changeover story.

Comment Cards: While The Germain Arena strives to provide the best entertainment atmosphere in the industry, there is always room for improvement. Therefore, comment cards are available at Guest Services. Your comments and suggestions provide us with input in our effort to provide the highest quality experience at our venue.

Doors Open: Doors typically open 1 hour prior to the scheduled event start, however, please call the main office to confirm for all events by calling (239) 948-PUCK ext.0. Once a guest has entered the Arena, there is no re-admittance. Re-entrance is granted only to those using the designated smoking area.

E

Ejection: Persons violating any regulations or otherwise conducting themselves in a manner detrimental to persons or the facilities of owned and operated by Germain ARENA may be ejected from the facility and grounds as permissible by law. Any person so ejected may make a written appeal to the Manager of Safety and Security or his designee. The decision rendered on appeal shall be final.

Event Staff: The Germain ARENA event staff is here to make your arena experience safe and pleasurable. If any staff member goes above and beyond his or her duties, please let us know or at guest services, section 103.

F

Family Shows: The Germain Arena will host a wide variety of shows, concerts and conventions including Disney On Ice, WWF, Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, Sesame Street Live, other ice shows, and more!

First Aid: First Aid is provided by Estero Fire Department and is located adjacent to Section 102.

Flying Pucks: Fans are permitted to keep pucks which enter the seating area. However, ticket holders assume all risk and danger incidental to the game of hockey, whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual playing of the game, including, without limitation, injury from flying pucks, sticks which leave the playing area or spectator's conduct.

Food and Beverage Service: A variety of concessions are available. A large-print concessions menu is available at guest services, or see the menu here.

Footballs: Fans are permitted to keep any footballs that enter the stands during Firecats games. However, the league asks that fans return any balls that leave the playing field during warm-ups or practice.

10-6, Sat noon-4 (hockey season)
Arena & Hockey offices are open M-F 9-5, except holidays

Kids: ALL GUESTS ENTERING THE ARENA who are 24 months of age or older must have a valid event ticket to gain admission. Some events require everyone to have a ticket, regardless of age.

L

Laser Pens: Any type of laser pen or laser object is prohibited from the Arena. Any such device is dangerous to both your fellow fan and to the players and performers. Any fan found carrying such an object is subject to dismissal from the building as well as confiscation of the object. In addition, any game delay created by use of such object by a fan can result in a penalty to the home team.

Listening Devices: Are available for guest use and may be checked out at Guest Services Access Service Center located adjacent to section 103.

Loitering: Loitering and solicitation is prohibited on the grounds of the Germain ARENA. This includes the soliciting of rides, loitering, selling of goods and the soliciting of funds or services in any area of Germain ARENA's property, including the immediate vicinity thereof is prohibited.

Lost and Found: Located at the Guest Services booth, Section 103. Or you may call 948-7825 ext. 0 the day after the event to inquire about your lost item. Leave a message at this extension and security will return your call promptly.

M

Merchandise: Everblades, Firecats, & Sea Dragons merchandise can be purchased at the Pro Shop located between the main arena and the recreation rinks. All merchandise stands are open during events from the time doors open through the end of the event. Hours of operation are:
Mon - Thurs Noon - 9PM
Fri - Noon - 8 PM
Sat - 9AM - 7 PM
Sun - 9AM- 5PM

Noise-making Devices: No extraneous noise-making devices are permitted inside the Arena. These items include, but are not limited to: horns, whistles, air horns, cymbals, cow bells, bugles.

O

Over time rules: If the score is tied at the end of regulation play, here's what happens:
  • Hockey: ECHL teams play one 5-minute sudden-death overtime. This is followed by a shoot out consisting of 5 players from each team. In Play-off games, teams will play as many 20-minute sudden-death periods as needed until someone wins.
  • Basketball: USBL will play 5-minute periods until there is a winner at the end of a period.
  • Arena Football: During the 15 minute overtime, each team gets one possession to score. If, at the end of each possession a team is ahead, they win. If it is still tied, the next team to score wins.

P

Paging: No paging of patrons by name is possible except in cases of extreme emergency. In such cases, contact the arena operator (941) 948-7825 extension zero.

Parking: The Parking Lot opens 2 hours prior sporting events and concerts. 2 hours prior to family and matinee shows. Main entrance is located on Ben Hill Griffin Road. VIP and Premier parking pass holders entering any other gate will be directed to these reserved lots.

Restrooms: There are 16 men's and 21 women's restrooms located throughout the facility.

Safe Ride Home: If you need a safe ride home, visit guest services and the attendant will call a taxi.

Safety Warnings: Pucks can be propelled into the spectator areas at any time warm-up or play is in progress or after the stoppage of play. To help avoid injury, stay alert when you are in the stands. If you are injured, ask the nearest Usher to escort you to First Aid, located adjacent to section 102.

Seating: Seating locations within the Germain ARENA are reserved for guests holding valid admission tickets. Please sit only in your assigned seat so as not to inconvenience other guests, and always retain your ticket stubs to allow Ushers to verify proper seat location.

Signs & Banners: Signs and/or banners shall be allowed within the Arena as long as they fall within the following guidelines:

The sign/banner does not impair the view of any guest in the Arena.

Information contained on the sign/banner is not of the nature that could be construed as vulgar, offensive, graphic or outside of what the community standard would consider in "good taste".

The hangings of signs/banners does not damage Arena walls, paint, railings, glass, etc.

Smoking: The Germain Arena is a smoke-free facility. Smoking areas are available outside the arena. Guests wishing to smoke are directed to the appropriate exits, located at sections 110.

Tailgating: Tailgating is not permitted in the parking lots. Open flames are prohibited.

Team Store: Souvenirs and Everblades merchandise are available at the Pro Shop located adjacent to recreation rinks & main arena..

Telephones: Telephones are located throughout the building adjacent to the following seating sections: 104

Throwing Objects: For the safety of all, patrons must refrain from throwing any object in the stands or onto the playing surface or stage. Patrons who do not comply will be asked to leave the Arena and / or criminal prosecution.

Ushers: Ushers are located at the entrance to each section in the lower seating areas. and they are at the section in the upper seating areas. They are available to assist in finding your seat, or for any information or assistance you may need.

Violation of Policies: Violation of Germain Arena policies or state/local laws may result in ejection, fines, and/or prosecution, and violators may be barred from future events.

Warnings: Your ticket is a license subject to the following: WARNING: BE ALERT! SERIOUS INJURY CAN OCCUR FROM PROJECTED, THROWN, HIT OR HURLED OBJECTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE EVENT! TICKET HOLDER ASSUMES ALL RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY LOSS OR DAMAGE from or related in any way to the event, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event, including specifically (but not exclusively) to any projected, thrown, hit or hurled objects, whether caused by anyone involved in the event or any spectator, person or condition in the Entertainment and Sports Arena or its surroundings, and holder waives and releases all claims arising from any such injury, against the Entertainment and Sports Arena and everyone involved in the event and all related companies, employees, contractors, and agents. Any use, unauthorized transmission, account, pictures or reproduction of the event or logo or mark of the Germain ARENA or anyone or company involved in the event, is prohibited. The holder is prohibited from carrying alcoholic beverages, bottles, cans, coolers and other unauthorized items onto the premises. Pursuant to law, the holder may not resell this ticket at a premium of more than $3.00 over the face value. Tickets may be resold only in the designated rGermain Arenale zone. Holder agrees to comply with the rules and regulations of the Germain ARENA. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to, eject or bar from future events, any person, or confiscate any ticket and any alcoholic beverages, bottles, cans, and coolers of any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions contained herein, as may be posted, and/or advised. Tickets obtained from sources other than the Germain ARENA or other authorized agents may be lost, stolen or counterfeit, and will not be honored. HOLDER ACKNOWLEDGES THE EVENT MAY BE CANCELLED OR RESCHEDULED, and at the discretion of management, holder may be issued a refund or a new ticket to another event. Any refund for this ticket may be obtained at place of purchase. Holder acknowledges that the holder's image and likeness may be freely used as part of any transmission or reproduction or displayed as a part of the event.
